On Wednesday, April 19th, the Local 15 Executive Board unanimously approved Senior Assistant Business Manager Chris Riser to succeed Terry McGoldrick as President/ Business Manager/Financial Secretary of IBEW Local 15 beginning May 6th, 2023.
Chris Riser started with ComEd as an Overhead Apprentice in June, 1990. He completed his apprenticeship in October, 1992. Chris took the promotion to Overhead Electrician Special in May, 2002 and followed by Overhead Crewleader in September, 2015.
Chris first became an IBEW Local 15 Steward at the Glenbard Office in September, 2007. He was promoted to Chief Steward in May, 2010. In October, 2016 Chris came into the Local 15 office as a Business Representative for the “Central” locations, which include, Glenbard, O’Hare, Bolingbrook, Maywood, Tech Center and Elgin. Chris was promoted to Assistant Business Manager in December, 2021 and Senior Assistant Business Manager in July, 2022.
