The IBEW 15 Executive Board has appointed Sister Lisa Sims to fill the unexpired term of retiring Recording Secretary Amy Splan.
Sister Sims has been an IBEW 15 Member in good standing for approximately twenty-three years. Lisa started her career at ComEd on January 12, 1998 as a Part-Time Customer Service Representative. She subsequently became a Full-Time CSR. Lisa demoted to an Office Service Representative in the Billing Department where she promoted to a General Clerk I, a Billing Clerk and then her current position as a Commercial Clerk I. While in the Billing Department, Lisa became involved with the Safety Council. In 2018, she was asked to become a Steward in the department.
Lisa Sims was later appointed Chief Steward earlier this year based on her ability and commitment to helping our members. Her Chief Steward responsibilities include representing all clerical members in the various departments at Commercial Center, in addition to the Billing Department. Based on her meticulous attention to detail, Terry McGoldrick asked her to serve on the Financial Audit Committee for IBEW 15 earlier this year. IBEW 15 congratulates Lisa on her appointment to the Executive Board and is confident she will continue to do an excellent job representing our members in her new position.
