April Unit Meetings

Thank you to the members who attended our April Unit Meetings.  

Our 8 Unit Meetings provide valuable information and opportunity for conversation regarding important topics impacting the Local 15 members.

April's meetings provided information on the legislation for the 'Right of first Refusal', Local 15's 30th Anniversary, IBEW Safety Conference, UG Fiber, Locating Pilot, SSC Fiber, and Fleet Training. The meetings also held open discussions on other topics affecting Local 15 and its members.

Congratulations to all the New Members sworn in at the April Unit Meetings. Thank you for attending the meeting and welcome to the IBEW Local 15 family.

New members - Joe Fishburn, Thomas Daly, Joseph Morabite and Carlos Villarreal are sworn in at the Northeast (Gurnee) Unit Meeting.

President Riser and Vice President Busser present Russ Ruettiger with a Certificate of Appreciation and a IBEW local 15 watch at the April Southern (Joliet) Unit Meeting. Brother Ruettiger has been a member in good standing for over 36 years. He has loyally served his Sisters and Brothers and the cause of Organized Labor as both a Steward and Chief Steward for Fuel Handling for over 14 years.  With gratitude for his dedication, we wish Brother "Rudy" well in his retirement.

President Riser and Vice President Busser present John Mihelich with a Certificate of Appreciation and a IBEW local 15 watch at the April Southern Unit Meeting. Brother Mihelich has been a Member in good standing for over 39 years. He has loyally served his Sisters and Brothers and the cause of Organized Labor as both a Steward and Chief Steward at Joliet Station for over 28 years.  With gratitude for his dedication, we wish Brother Michelich well in his retirement.

New Members - Adam Cinkovic, Tyler Deyoung, Alejandro Espana, Anthony Gonzalez, Bryan Cummins, Frank Lamascese and someone else, who's name I couldn't read on the sign in sheet, are sworn in at the Chicago Unit Meeting.

New Members - Caleb Van Ryn, Natalia Madriz, Andrea Neyland, Tiffany Woods, Dante Davis, Nicholas Jett, Aaron Garcia, Julio Rosales, Raven Boyd, and Garcia Tony are sworn in at the Central (Elmhurst) Unit Meeting.

New Members - Brandon Bryan, Juan Barron, Shepard Hayes, Cristobal Manzano, Patrick Scherder, Brandon Slelavanitis, and Marian Kosaelniak are sworn in at the Northwest (Rockford) Unit Meeting.
