On December 9, 2021, Braidwood Generating Station hosted U.S Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm for a site tour. The tour highlighted the economic and environmental benefits of Braidwood Nuclear Generating Station. Local 15 Business Representative Brian Daniels and Braidwood Chief Steward Brad Gritt took part in the event and spoke with the Secretary of their roles with IBEW Local 15 and at the site. They thanked Secretary Granholm for her support of organized labor, fighting for good paying jobs, and backing Nuclear generation.
