Meet your Stewards

Anthony "Scooch" Scumaci

My name is Anthony “Scooch” Scumaci.  I have worked for ComEd for 19 years.  I became a steward in Chicago South SSC in 2017 and became chief steward in 2022. I am currently a chief steward for Southern Region SSC.  I grew up in a union household with my dad being a steward for Teamsters Local 705 for almost 25 years. I remember him telling me the importance of being part of a union as I was growing up.  I knew it was the route I was going to take.   I have been married for to my amazing wife Stacy for 10 years and have 2 amazing kids.  Demi is my oldest and she loves figure skating and dance.  My son plays hockey and football.  When I’m not at work I enjoy coaching my sons football team, watching my daughter dance and figure skate, and just being around my family.  I enjoy drinking while golfing and sometimes taking my shirt off while doing so.

Thank you, Scooch, for your service to Local 15!
