Meet the Stewards

Katherine Johnson


HI!!  My name is Katherine Johnson, I have been with the company 26 yrs. I started as a CSR in Oakbrook, then to Dresden Generating Station and currently a GC1 for Supply Operations in Cantera. I began my stewardship as the Chief Clerical Steward at Dresden Station. After leaving Dresden and transferring to Cantera, I became the Clerical Chief Steward here. I am the MBA representative as well. I work very hard to assist everyone and make sure all questions are answered. I pride myself in making sure that everyone is satisfied with my work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, my husband of 15yrs, 3 daughters, 4 bonus sons and numerous grandchildren (ages 6mos-24).  I turned my love of fashion into a personal business.  I greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve!

Patrick Runyen



My name is Patrick Runyen.  I have worked for ComEd for 16 years. I started in 2008 reading meters in Libertyville for 5 1/2year’s. I am currently a Crew leader and steward in mount prospect, North Region SSC. I became a steward in Skokie SSC as a A in 2019. I have been raised around my dad, family being in the Chicago carpenters union my whole life.  I have been married to my wife Amanda for 10 years and have 2 amazing Girls with another Baby girl due in October. When I’m not at work the girls and I enjoy spending time at our cabin in northern WI, creating new memory’s, riding snowmobiles, four wheeler’s and just being outside with family and friend’s.

Mario Campos




Mario started as an Aux Fuel Handler at Byron Station in 2008 and promoted to Senior Fuel Handler in 2009. He first became a steward at Byron in March of 2012 which he held until he transferred to Quad Cities Station in 2013. In 2014, he then became the steward at Quad Cities until becoming Chief Steward for Fuel Handling in 2024.

Mario and his wife Shannon of 24 years have 5 children - Anfernee (28), Jaeden (27), Amara (25), Jariese (17), Oriani (12) and one grandson, Benny (1).
