Meet Local 15 Stewards

Tony Taylor


Tony Taylor started at Dresden Station in 1996 as a Station Labor. He worked his way through the ranks to A Mechanic in 2000. He held that classification until becoming a Senior A Mechanic in 2018. Tony first became a Steward in February of 2013 serving as the MMD Steward for the next 5 years. He accepted the Chief Steward Position in May of 2018. Throughout the years Tony has attended the Local 15 Stewards School, University of Illinois Arbitration School, and attended a Nuclear Conference. Tony and his wife Cheryl of 33 years live in St.John, Indiana. Together they have raised 2 sons, Griffin 26, and Grayden 21. His favorite teams are from Chicago, The BlackHawks and Da Bears. When not cheering for his teams he likes to golf, ski and travel.

William Hawker

William “Bill” Hawker hired into Kincaid Generating Station as a Station Laborer in 1990. Bill was promoted into the Mechanical Maintenance Department in 1999. Bill became a steward for Local 15 in December 2013 and in July 2021 he became Chief Steward for Kincaid Station. In September 2022, Bill was appointed to serve on the IBEW Local 15 Executive board.


Tim Bills

Tim Bills is currently a Chief Steward and Overhead Electrician Special in Crestwood. He started as a meter reader in 2013 at Chicago South. Bill became a 3 phase Overhead Lineman in April of 2017 and took the promotion to OES in March of 2021. He became a Local 15 Steward in 2014 and has been Chief Steward since 2019. Tim has attended Organizer “Boot Camp” School for Workers in Madison, Wi, he is also the Chairman for the South Region Safety Council.

Tim lives in Mokena with his wife of 9 happy years, Megan and his 3 kids, Travis - 8, Mabel - 7 and Margaret - 5.

Tim is a Proud Local 15 Member. He is very active, helping his Union Brothers and Sisters to stay informed. Thank you for all your hard work Tim.
