Local 15 Annual Stewards Meeting

On Tuesday, May 19th, President Chris Riser welcomed more than 80 Local 15 stewards from across the service territory, representing both the Physical and Clerical departments.
This year’s meeting was focused on preparing for our upcoming contract negotiations. President Riser and Vice President Ben Busser opened the session by thanking the stewards for their continued dedication and the critical role they play in representing our membership.

Senior Assistant Business Managers Jim Collins and Mike Freeman delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining our strategy and preparation efforts for negotiations. President Riser also provided additional insight and took time to address questions from the stewards, reinforcing our collective goals moving forward. A strong emphasis was placed on the importance of member engagement, including downloading the Local 15 app and participating in the contract negotiations survey.
The survey was reviewed in detail during the meeting and officially released to the stewards that day. It was made available to the entire membership via the Local 15 website and mobile app at approximately 3:00 PM following the meeting.
