Today, on National Lineman Appreciation Day, we proudly honor the hardworking Local 15 brothers and sisters who power our communities, protect our grid, and represent the very best of what it means to be a tradesperson.

As members of IBEW Local 15, our linemen face every challenge head-on—whether it’s restoring power in the dead of night, rebuilding infrastructure after devastating storms, or ensuring safety and reliability across the grid. They do it all with skill, grit, and union pride.

This work isn’t easy—and it’s not for the faint of heart. Linemen climb poles in blistering heat and freezing cold. They respond when disaster hits, sacrificing time with family to serve their communities. They train for years to master the craft and uphold the highest safety standards. They look out for one another. That’s the union way.
