On May 25th and 25th, Local 15 Business Reps Jim Collins, Brian Daniels and Shawn Wachter with Stewards Mike Quirk, Kyle Cordone and Forrest Helfrich attended the IBEW Utility Conference in Austin, Texas. Speakers included IBEW President - Kenneth Cooper, IBEW Utility Department Director– Donnie Colston, IBEW Secretary Treasurer - Paul Noble. Topics included IBEW Legislative Actions, Utility Government Affairs, Utility Industry Updates, Labor Law Developments, Clean Energy Partnerships, Education and Training Opportunities. Local 15 also participated in IBEW Workshops covering T&D Electrical and Safety.
