Constellation Contract Preparations

Local 15 continues to preparations for the upcoming contract with Constellation Generation. Beginning February 19th Local 15 began holding departmental meetings with various Local 15 workforce employees to discuss issues seen within their respective departments. Local 15 Assistant Business Manager Brian Daniels and Business Representative John Richards led the meeting agenda with open discussion that included departmental issues and feedback from members. President Chris Riser and VP Ben Busser were present to kick off and involved in discussion with each group.
Following the completion of the Constellation Contract Member Survey Local 15 invited Nuclear Generation Chief Stewards on April 22nd and April 23rd to the office to review member comments that were documented on the survey.
On February 19th Local 15 welcomed Byron IMD Steward Tony Crose, Braidwood EMD Steward Tom Rakes, LaSalle EMD Steward Jeremy Haddon, Braidwood IMD Steward Ryan Taplin, Dresden IMD Steward Bryan Schulte, Byron EMD Steward Adam Fuller.
On February 20th Local 15 Welcomed Valve Services Steward Matt Wilson, Dresden Stores Steward Kevin Marcum, Quad Cities Facilities Maintenance Ryan Rasche, Byron Stores Austin Uhrig, and Braidwood Facilities Maintenance Matt Esparza.
On February 26th Local 15 welcomed Braidwood NSO Steward Brian Johnson, Braidwood EO Steward Mike Macella, Dresden EO Steward Aaron Akey, Dresden NSO Steward Steve Gulik, Lasalle Chief Steward James Chiapetta, Quad Cities EO Steward Doug Ashton, and Quad Cities NSO Steward Tom Dale.
On March 9th Local 15 welcomed Braidwood Chief Clerical Steward Krystal Glidic and Quad Cities Clerical Steward Emily Bridgewater.
On March 10th Local 15 welcomed Quad Cities MMD Steward Shawn Snyder, Byron MMD Steward Phil Gould, and Dresden MMD Steward Matthew Provance.
On March 13th Local 15 welcomed Lasalle RP Steward Trent Freed, Byron RP Steward Justin Partee, Byron Chemistry Steward Andrew Wright, Quad Cities Chemistry Steward Christina Levine, Dresden RP Steward John Dillon, and Braidwood Chem Tech James Welsh.
On March 26th Local 15 welcomed Braidwood Fuel Handling Steward Shadonta Travis, Lasalle Fuel Handling Steward Colby Zellers, Byron Fuel Handling Steward Nick Barber, and Dresden Fuel Handling Steward Jake Debolt.
On March 27th Local 15 welcomed the Influencing Committee that included Quad Cities EMD Steward Derrick Holst, Braidwood MMD Steward Zach Bolte, Byron EO Steward Garry Raley Jr, Lasalle Chief Steward, Sam Cato, and Dresden EMD Steward Jimmy Glidic.
