On October 1st, 2023 Local 15 held our Inaugural Charity Golf Outing at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont. The event was a huge success, bringing Local 15 members together for a great cause; to raise money for kids battling cancer and their families. Our event raised an astounding $35,000 to support the non-profit organization CALS ANGELS. The team at CALS ANGELS were extremely grateful and informed us that the money we donated would go to granting wishes for cancer patients, each wish granted to a child fighting cancer is $1,000. The remainder of our donation would go towards providing Christmas presents for CALS kids and their families. The Local 15 Team was given presents for 5 different families. We wrapped the presents, contacted the families and delivered the presents to the kids battling cancer, their siblings and parents.
We are extremely grateful to our members and donors who participated in the Golf Event. Their generosity provided the opportunity for Local 15 to support families in our communities who desperately need help, especially during the holidays. Thank you again to everyone who contributed to our event and made this possible.
