Exelon Benefits Open Enrollment is scheduled from November 4th to November 17th 2021. Dresden Station employees may enroll November 4th through the 24th as result of their outage. The BCBS PPO medical premiums increased 3.7% while the BCBS medical EPO decreased 4.4%. The Cigna PPO dental premiums decreased 1.3% while the Blue Care HMO Dental premiums remained the same. The EyeMed vision premiums also remained the same.
Changes:
Separation of the Companies (ComEd/BSC and Exelon Generation). This is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2022. Your selections for 2022 will remain the same for the entire year of 2022. You will not need to re-enroll upon completion of the separation.
Your personalized enrollment work sheet (premiums) will not be included in the enrollment package but will be posted online (hrhub.exeloncorp.com > My Benefits > Health & Insurance) and also available by calling the Exelon Service Center (877-739-3566). Additionally, you will receive the premium information on the subsequent benefit selection confirmation communication.
As in years past, you only need to take enrollment action if you are making changes to any of your benefit elections for 2022, or if you want to contribute to the health or dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSA) which must be renewed each year. You may make changes by calling myHR at 1-877-739-3566 or logging in to exelonbenefits.com. with your user ID and password.
All the changes will be covered in the open enrollment packets. Take the time to review your benefit elections including the confirmation statement to make sure they are accurate, even if you are not making any changes. Make sure you verify your dependents.
