                     Local 15 IBEW has developed this webpage specifically for its retired members.            

      Its purpose is to provide information to our retired members, including the retired members from the former 17 IBEW local unions of System Council U-25.  As our members retire, many of them leave the Chicagoland area and/or the northern half of Illinois for places much warmer.  Some leave permanently, while others are known as “snowbirds”.  This is the main reason that Local 15 IBEW created this webpage for its retired members.  Local 15 IBEW feels this would be the most convenient, practical and efficient manner for the Union to provide its retirees with any information that may be of importance to each of you.   

   Local 15 IBEW realizes that some retired members do not own a computer, or they may not have access to the Internet.  If any of our retired members know of someone that fits that description, please inform them of this medium where they can find information concerning them, or if needed, pass the information along to them.  As we all know, active employees and retired employees are facing changes everyday by the new management of Exelon Corporation and Midwest Generation LLC.  Hopefully, this new webpage will assist the retirees to keep informed of any changes being made affecting our retired IBEW members.

with absolutely no regard that it was negotiated through the years to be free to its service
